もともとは子どものために製作・販売されながらも、生粋の自動車愛好家の鑑識眼にも耐えうるように作り込まれた「ジュニアカー」が、れっきとしたコレクターズアイテムとして認知されて久しい。2023年11月4日、RMサザビーズ欧州本社がその本拠地であるロンドンの古城「マールボロ・ハウス」で行ったオークション、その名も「LONDON 2023」では、約40年前にランボルギーニ クンタッチ（カウンタック）を忠実に縮小するかたちで製作された、一台のジュニアカーが出品された。

2023年10月24日、NAPAC（一般社団法人日本自動車用品・部品アフターマーケット振興会）の第7期総会が東京のグランドプリンスホテル高輪で開催された。当総会では、4年間の会長任期を終えた高瀬嶺生氏の後任に中嶋敬一郎氏の就任が発表、新体制でのスタートとなった。AMWでは新会長並びに各事業部の新正副事業部長などのキーマンに、今後の抱負を語っていただいたので、ご紹介しよう。
